A Little About Me
Splitting his childhood 50/50 between Hong Kong in Australia, Isaac grew up playing sport. In pursuit of a career in rugby union, he journeyed back home to Australia for University. Two weeks after arrival he tore all the ligaments in his knee. Career over. Frustrated, stuck at home, he took a drama course on instinct - and something unlocked. Shakespeare. Playing Kent in King Lear. Saying the words on stage. That was the moment.
Since then, he's never stopped moving. He's trained in Meisner technique, performed butoh with physical theatre company Zen Zen Zo, broken his nose twice (rugby, then boxing), mended fences in Kangaroo Valley, created cocktail menus for the Sydney Opera House, and collaborated with Shepard Fairey on drinks for a photography exhibition in Berlin. He's worked as an actor across Australia, London, and now calls Berlin home.
What drives him? Real people doing real things on screen. Sam Rockwell in Three Billboards. Jeremy Renner in The Town. Ben Foster in Hell or High Water. Performances where you feel the life behind them.
