A Little About Me
Xandra Logan is a York-based actress who has trained in performance since the age of four, in dance, youth theatre and voice. Her ambition to act professionally crystallised at twelve, with a courtroom reenactment that sparked twin passions for acting and the law. She continued to perform throughout her teenage years and into her studies in Law at Newcastle University, the pull toward acting running alongside her legal training. She was called to the Bar in 2024 before returning her full focus to performance, bringing with her a working understanding of advocacy, courtroom rhythm and how people behave under pressure that continues to feed her approach to character. Recent credits include the title role in Mary Rose (York Theatre Royal, 2024) and Elise Thompson in The Situation Room (Aesthetica, 2025), with critics noting her "scene-stealing streak on the York stage" and directors highlighting her authenticity, emotional depth and instinctive nuance. Based in York, and able to readily relocate to West Scotland, London and Portsmouth.
